This Breitling for Bentley 6.75 originally got its name from the size of the largest Bentley engines, which are found in the famous Mulsanne limousines. This year, the Breitling for Bentley 6.75 gets an upgrade, which is featured in an exclusive limited numbered series of 1,000 pieces worldwide. The 6.75 has always stood out from the rest of the Breitling for Bentley range due to its classy large double date window at just below the 12 position.

The case of this model uses stainless steel that has been treated with DLC to attain its black coloration. The distinctive bezel like all those from this collection is reminiscent of the radiator grilles from the Bentley line of luxury cars. The case back depicts the iconic Bentley five-spoke wheel rim in black on stainless steel making for an almost 3D motif. These timepieces, signed Breitling for Bentley, are outfitted with black rubber straps with a central matching pattern to the bezel. This strap is fastened using a push button folding clasp made from DLC stainless steel. The Breitling for Bentley comes in a truly oversized case with a 49mm dimension for the diameter.

Breitling describes this dial as Royal Ebony and it carries a gorgeous vertical open worked motif in the center of the dial, through which the wearer can see bits of the movement in action. This gent’s watch uses both luminous indexes and luminous hands ensuring legibility under all conditions. The counter at 3 indicates the continuous seconds, while the totalizers at 6 and 9 display the chrono hours and minutes respectively. On the flange is a variable tachometer, which is a modified slide rule from the Navitimer collection. This variable tachometer is controlled using the bidirectional bezel, which is equipped with a pinion mechanism.

The engine of this timepiece is the COSC certified self-winding caliber 44B. This movement beats at 28,800 VpH and is fitted with 38 jewels. Naturally, a model of this pedigree will carry a sapphire crystal. However, Breitling glare proofs it for perfect visibility above and below cloud cover. The main crown is screw locked enabling the water resistance to be maintained at 100 meters or 330 feet.
